I have to say, I have been a fan of Miss Keyshia since going online to listen to "The Way It Is" on AOL's music page. To this day, she has yet to disappoint me. Her latest album is definitely worth buying (or at least downloading on napster). There are a number of songs on this album that seems as if it were made right at the time I needed to hear it. You know how you hear that one song that just describes how you are feeling, and you are like "hell yeah, thats what the fuck I'm talking about"...yeah, thats what I get from some of the songs on this album.
One of my favorite songs on here is this track called "Oh-Oh, Yeah-Yea"....THAT'S MY SHIT!! The first verse sold me. She starts off talking about how far she and her dude could go in their relationship if he'd only believe in her.....That's how I feel right about now about my dude (well...ex dude I guess). Man, if his ass woulda only given me the credit I felt that I deserved or atleast treated me like I was his number one...things coulda been great. All I kept saying was "believe"....and this song was saying everything that I was feeling.
There is another track on here called "Playa Cardz Right" featuring TuPac (how this nig is still on records is beyond me since he's been dead since I was in junior high...r.i.p 2pac) which is pretty good, can't say anything bad about it. It's definitely a Keyshia album. Her voice is so beautiful, she's got this sweet girl/gutta bitch style....I love it.
So if you haven't heard it yet you need to check it out...I'm about to go listen to it right now myself :)
Labels: 2pac, a different me, arizona, dead, keyshia cole, oh oh yeah yea, playa cardz right, shakur, sharon freeman, sherri, tupac
